Unit price & pack value calculator
Compare price per 100 ml, 100 g or item using the prices you enter. Enter the size of one pack, the number of packs in a multipack, the price for that whole offer and its delivery cost. The calculator divides price plus delivery by total quantity; it does not fetch live prices.
Example: two shampoo offers (illustrative inputs)
This is a worked calculation, not a retailer quote. Offer A: $12 for one 250 ml bottle, with $4 delivery. Offer B: $20 for two 250 ml bottles, with $5 delivery. Enter 250 as pack size for each, and pack counts of 1 and 2.
Offer A: ($12 + $4) ÷ 250 × 100 = $6.40 per 100 ml. Offer B: ($20 + $5) ÷ (250 × 2) × 100 = $5.00 per 100 ml. Delivered totals are $16 and $25 respectively: a lower unit cost can still mean a larger checkout total.
Compare the same product and matching units
Check formula, shade and pack contents first. Compare ml with L, g with kg, or items with items; grams and millilitres are not interchangeable. Enter the whole multipack price once, not the price of each bottle. Unit cost measures quantity, not product suitability.
Use the delivery charge attributable to that offer. If delivery is shared across a basket, choose a consistent allocation. Check current retailer prices yourself; this tool makes no live-price or savings claim.
